Always on Top

With Always-on-Top, you can force any window to stay in the foreground.
When enabled, the window will not go behind another window if you activate the other window.

The default hotkey is ALT + Z

Functions

Disable when maximized
This function will temporarily disable the AOT mode when the window is maximized.

Additional settings

AOT comes with the following settings included

  • Border color, opacity, and width
  • The default behavior for “Disable when maximized”

To access the quick settings:

Opening WindowTop settings from the system tray menu

Adjusting the border width and color of the Always on Top feature in the settings panel

The default behavior for “Disable when maximized”

If you want “Disable when maximized” to be enabled by default, enable the following option

Option in WindowTop settings to temporarily disable Always on Top when maximizing, applying the preference as the default for all windows
